Star Sprite Fairy Bride?

OK, with this new image, I added stars to a fairy bride. I haven't used wings in awhile so is this a new direction for my Fairy Bride series?

Bridal Photo Session!

I want thank my co-workers, Ms Clay and Ms Young, who allowed me to photograph them today in their bridal gowns! The session was about 2.5 hours at Oven Park--it was hard work for the models! I also want to thank Ms Claire and Ms Horne who assisted them during this session. I am still working on my fairy bride series so I hope to create some good images for an exhibit in 2014.

2 Photo Sessions

Today's weather was PERFECT for a photo shoot at Oven Park! It was cloudy and the light was very even. I didn't really have to bracket. I photographed my intern and her fiance and my co-worker and her dog, Miles. This was my first time photographing a pet owner with her pet. The dog wasn't very cooperative so it was hard for me to get some good portraits. I definitely need more training/experience with that!

Star Sprite Guadalupe

Here's another Star Sprite to add to the series. This was inspired by the image of Virgin of Guadalupe. Also the portrait is of Mark's Aunt Dot who passed away this past March 2012, along with her beloved husband, Uncle Jim Hitchcock.

Star Sprite Series

This is the first one in this series. I was inspired to do a star themed series after watching Enrico Casarosa's short animation, La Luna, where shiny yellow stars are the source of moonlight.
