Here is an image inspired by the rose garden at Leu Gardens in Orlando. It was a truly amazing sight! Practically every rose bush was in bloom.

A Threesome At Last

Well, I haven't had a chance to photograph my niece and her parents as a trio so I have photoshopped them. One of these days I need to do it so they can have a decent photograph for their upcoming Christmas card!

Angelina My Muse

My niece continues to be a source of inspiration for my creativity--so she is my muse. After all, she got me back into sewing and pursuing digital photography further with learning photoshop.
This past weekend, we met up with Gi et al and college friend, Jim Ruiz et al in Orlando. We spent Saturday together. On Sunday, while they all went to SeaWorld, Mark and I returned to Tallahassee via Leu Garden in downtown Orlando.
Here is Gi with an image I took at the garden--practicing with the gradient tool to blend images together.

Here are some more images inspired by the spring season. Most of the images came from photographs that I took at Mobile Botanical Garden on April 4, when Mark was attending Henry Wo's Chinese ink painting workshop.

Light N Up opening reception 4-12-08

Here we are for our opening reception at Light N Up Art Co-op in Havana last night.

I am the guest artist for April/May. The other featured artists are co-op members Diana Orrick (Asian brush painting and photography) and Barbara Graham (jewelry). Many thanks to our friends who stopped by and to Ann Kozeliski for the roses: Tom and Viki Wylder, Paul LeValley, Ann and Ethan Kromhout, Carol and Fred Sanfilippo. The food was delicious too!

Spring Spirits

My sister's birthday is coming up (April 19) so I created two images for her birthday card--in honor of her birthday and spring! We'll see the gang in Orlando that weekend so I hope to take some up-to-date pix of my niece, Angelina.
