Patty and Louise

On Monday evening, we dined with the Wylders at their home. For Christmas, they received a new white Mainecoon kitten from Viki's sister, Patty, and they named her Patty's Surprise, Patty for short. I photographed her, along with their other cats, including Louise, who was lounging on their bed. Can you tell who is who?

St Marks NWR

St Marks is one of my favorite places, naturally. I created this series based on images that I took while hiking around the national wildlife refuge.

South Florida

While Mark and I visited my family in South Florida (see our other blog for photos: www.turtlehill.blogspot.com) during our winter break, we visited several sights: Wakodahatchee Park and Green Cay Park in Delray Beach and Mounts Botanical Garden in West Palm Beach. I photographed at those locations and created this series.

Fairies

After meeting my niece in Macau, her cute personality inspired me to create a series of fairies using her face as the model once we returned to the U.S.

Hanchuan, Hubei Province, China

Angelina "Gigi" Chang DeOliveira was discovered at the medical clinic of the Xianghe Garden residence quarter on August 15, 2006. She was wrapped in a thin red cotton blanket. At the time, the doctor determined that she was about 2 days old, thus her birth date was determined to be August 14, 2006.

My sister and brother-in-law picked up Gigi on July 23, 2007 in Wuhan, Hubei Province.
